Barry G. “Bear” Heron, 53 of 235 Stamey Valley Road, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010.
Born in Beckley, WV, he was a son of Margaret Brown Heron of Beckley, WV and the late Roy Heron. Mr. Heron worked for Fluor Daniel for 28 years and had owned Little Lake RV Park for the past 5 years.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife Sue A. Dona Heron of the home; a sister, Kay Smith and husband Jim of Charlotte, NC; a nephew, Scotty Smith and wife Kimberly; a great nephew, Shane Smith, a great niece Elianna Smith and a cousin Beverly Bazzie.
Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday at The Heron Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM Friday evening at The Howze Mortuary.
