Wilma A. Moody Capps, 64, of Inman, SC, wife of Leonard “Ray” Capps, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at her residence in Inman, SC.
Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Cornelia Henson Moody. Mrs. Capps was a homemaker, and a member of North Fork Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters: Kathy Stewart (Dean), Tonya (Brittney) (Danny), Mary Ann Thurston (Ronald); son: Stephen Sorgee (Statia); sisters: Judy Moon (John), Wanda Barbour (Barry), Linda Atkins, Frankie Casey (Thomas); 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brothers: James Moody, J. Clifford Moody, Edward “Buddy” Moody; and sons: Ernest Turner and Mark Turner.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
Funeral service will be Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel, with burial to follow at Friendship Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Steve Sorgee, Robert Carter, Brad Thurston, Duane Trammell, Chad Roberts, and Brent Thurston.
The family will be at 425 East Old Mill Rd., Travelers Rest, SC, for directions call 834-9534.
