Loretta D. Beacham

Loretta Daniel Beacham, devoted wife, mother, Nana and friend, whose life was rooted in love, faith, and her family, went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 21, 2025. She was born March 10, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio. Her family moved to the Travelers Rest area when she was 3 years old. She was a graduate of Travelers Rest High School and attended Cecil’s Business College. Loretta was a dedicated employee of T&S Brass and Bronze Works in Travelers Rest for 47 years. Her selfless kind nature and passionate approach left a lasting impact on all those she encountered as personnel secretary for the company. Loretta’s life was an example of gentleness, kindness, and compassion. She was a faithful Christian woman who loved the Lord and served Him in all that she did. She was a lifetime member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Travelers Rest and served most of her life as the pianist/organist. She also served as the Children’s Sunday School teacher and church clerk. Loretta’s family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas William Beacham of 45 years and her loving daughter, Anna Marie Kane (Mitchel), her cherished grandsons, Grant and Thomas Kane, who were her pride and joy. They could always depend on “Nana” to be there for them in all aspects of their lives. Other surviving family members include Loretta’s mother, Mary Daniel, her sister, Debbie Cox (Gary), her mother-in-law, Shirley Beacham, her nephews Daniel Cox Garland), David Cox (Katie), and a host of many other family members and special friends who shared countless memories with her. She was predeceased by her father, Claude Oscar Daniel, her Benson and Daniel grandparents, her father-in-law, Tom Beacham, and niece, Susan Beacham. Loretta’s legacy will live on through memories that she shared with all the ones who knew and loved her. We have joy in knowing that she is now in Heaven with her Savior and her battle with cancer was won. Visitation will be held at The Howze Mortuary in Travelers Rest on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following in the Howze Mortuary Chapel at 1:30 p.m., officiated by Reverend David Cox. Burial will follow at Wood Memorial Park in Greer. Pallbearers will be Grant Kane, Mitchel Kane, Daniel Cox, David Parfitt, Jeff Mace, and Jeff Duncan. Flowers are accepted; however, memorials may be made to Lottie Moon Christmas offering, c/o New Liberty Baptist Church.
