Margaret Huff

Margaret Duncan Huff, 100, of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 22, 2026. She was born on June 8, 1926, to the late Laten and Bessie Duncan. She was a woman of extraordinary strength, devotion, and grace. She loved spending time with her family and was a devoted member of Clearview Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending the Mission Minded Sunday School class, where she treasured the friendships she made and the time spent with those she loved. One of her favorite memories was traveling with her Sunday School friends to the Holy Land. She found great joy in the simple things in life, especially cooking wonderful meals and cookies for friends and family, working puzzles, and tending her garden. Her joyful spirit, kind heart, and unwavering faith were evident to all who knew her, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through generations. Margaret is survived by her children: William “Bill” Huff (Brenda), Sharon Gorrin (the late Joseph Gorrin), and Charlene H. McAlister (Troy); her grandchildren, Adrian Hartness (David), Leah Robbins (Tony), Paula Rouse (Hagen), Lorey Haile (Chris), Ashley Pund (Whitney), Brittany Jester (the late Clay Jester), Taylor McAlister (Hannah), and JoAnna Gorrin; her great-grandchildren, Wills Hartness, Graham Hartness, Emily Robbins, Max Robbins, Paul Rouse, Thomas Rouse, Nash Rouse, Keane Haile, Creed Haile, Alex Pund, Laci Pund, Foster Pund, and Sara Ella Pund. She was predeceased in death by her late husband, Welborn Huff, with whom she shared fifty-one years of marriage, as well as one sister and eight brothers. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 26, at 10:00 am at Clearview Baptist Church, followed by a memorial service celebrating her life at 11:00 am.
