Lila Ashe

Lila Grace Barker Randolph Ashe, 88, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020. Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Vestel Barto and Bertha Leech Barker. Mrs. Ashe retired from Kreiger Industries after twenty-three years and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Pickens. Surviving are one daughter: Audrey Ballenger (Rick); two sons: Roger W. Randolph (Stella) and Warren Keith Randolph (Loretta); two sisters: Doris Bradley and Louise Hendrix; five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband: Wallace Randolph; second husband: Avery Leroy Ashe; two sisters: Angie Fortner and Juanita Sheppard; two brothers: Charles Barker and Vestel Barker, Jr.; and step-mother: Eva G. Barker. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Clearview Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Children’s Ministry, 620 Pleasant Grove Rd., Pickens, SC 29671. The family will be at their respective homes.
