Mary Moon Keffer

December 17, 1934 - February 24, 2022

Mary Lois (Moon) Keffer, 87, wife of the late Ronald Ray Keffer, went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, February 24, 2022, at Lexington Community Hospice House in Lexington, SC. Born in Raleigh County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Earl Moon and Hannah Underwood Moon. Mary worked alongside her late husband Ronald at the former Direct Oil Convenience Store on Sulphur Springs Road in Greenville for many years and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Greenville. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters: Kathy Gilbert and husband Randy of Travelers Rest and Judy Parker and husband Joe of Greenville along with 4 grandchildren: Nathan Gilbert, Cole Parker, Cley Parker and Cam Parker. Along with her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by 3 sisters: Macel Keffer, Margie Coburn and Ruby Ellison. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Mountain View Memorial Park in Travelers Rest at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greenville County Alzheimer’s Association, 123 W.
