Randy Metcalf

August 12, 1957 - January 17, 2022

Randall “Randy” Dee Metcalf, 64, of Travelers Rest, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Tryon, NC, he was a son of Jimmie Baker Metcalf and the late L. D. Metcalf. He was lineman with A T & T, co-owner of Metcalf Auctions, member of Donald Trump Foundation, member of the NRA, huge Clemson Tiger fan, avid deer hunter and fisherman and a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. He especially enjoyed taking the grandchildren on vacations. He had a big heart for children without parents and took them under his wing. He is survived by his wife of 32 years who he adored: Vickie Samples Metcalf; daughter: Krystal Bishop(Paul); son: Shane Rochester; grandchildren: Brady Harris(Heather), Kelby McCoy(Kaitlyn), Josie Victoria Buckner; great-granddaughter: Aayla Harris; brother: Roland Metcalf; and sister: Regina Metcalf. Along with his father he was predeceased by a grandson, Justin Rochester. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 1pm until 2pm at The Howze Mortuary. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 2pm at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
