Sherry Sanders Ward

Sherry Sanders Ward, 56, went to be with the Lord on Sunday afternoon, February 6, 2022, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Troy Sanders and Annie Sue Dockins Sanders. Sherry was a hairdresser at Revive Salon and was a member of Cox Chapel Baptist Church. Surviving to cherish her memory is her daughter: Alivia Lewis and husband Brodey of Travelers Rest; 2 sons: Sam Ward of Mid-Town Atlanta and Ricky Ward and wife Kay of Columbia, SC; 2 brothers: William “Billy” Sanders and wife Stephanie of Travelers Rest and James “Jamie” Sanders and wife Wendy of Marietta, SC along with 5 grandchildren: Hiromi, Alex, Clayton, Gracelyn and Judson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary. Funeral service will follow the visitation in the Howze Mortuary Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Mountain View Memorial Park.
