Jacquline Eppes Boling

In loving memory of an extraordinary and beautiful woman, mother, sister, friend, inside and out. Jacquline Eppes Boling, age 94, left her body in the early morning on July 6th with her daughters Piper Loyo and Denise Tichenor by her side, at her home in Roswell, Ga. She was originally from Greenville SC. She was preceded in death by her husband James A Boling of Greenville SC, her sisters Jimmi Eppes Welchel, and Geraldine “Gerri” McNeely, her parents Rossie Roper Eppes and Clinton Eppes and step son Timothy Boling. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Piper Kristie Loyo of Roswell, Ga…Denise Orr Tichenor (Thomas Tichenor) of Roswell, Ga…Carol Orr Noshkin (Bill Noshkin) of Burbank, Ca…her grandson Brett Hill of Burbank, Ca…her sister Connie Eppes Hall of Easley SC…her brother Albert James Eppes of Simpsonville, SC…and her stepson Jimmy Boling of Greenville, SC. Jacquline, Jackie as she was most fondly called, was a woman who was unconditionally loving and loyal to her family and friends, full of compassion, kindness, and empathy towards others. She was fiercely protective and loved her children with all her sacred heart. She was a devoted and loving wife of 34 yrs to her late husband James A Boling and gave generously without hesitation to anyone in need. Jackie was born on March 31st, 1931 during the heart of the depression. Later struggling as most did during those times to survive and make a better life for herself and her family. She was incredibly determined and dedicated to provide the best for her family and opened the first Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Greenville SC with her first husband, Richard C Orr. She was such a lovely and talented dancer and as a teacher and business woman the dance studios thrived and became very successful. The talented dancing duo in those times became known as the celebrities of Greenville, the "Fred and Ginger” of Greenville SC. She was an magnanimous soul and had so many talents and gifts to offer the world around her. Just her presence alone brought a nurturing healing divine light into this troubled world. Unbeknownst to most she was also a prolific poet, many of her poems hidden and stashed away only to be found later, holding the deepest sincerities and truths residing in her beautiful heart. She was also an excellent cook and could create the most amazing meals, her signature spaghetti sauce and country cooking being some of the best! One of her most endearing traits was her unconditional love and concern for animals. Her beloved dog Pepper was the light of her life for many years and her precious kitty Lucky stole her heart in her later years. But she loved and adored all animals. She loved her daughters dogs as if they were her own grandchildren. And they loved her equally in return. Even in her last moments, right to the end, being present and holding a steadfast loyalty to her at her bedside. She loved dancing, music, writing poetry, being with family, long walks in nature, bird songs, and waterfalls, antique shopping and apple picking with her beloved sisters. So many wonderful memories will remain of how she positively touched so many of our lives, of her precious lifetime and how fortunate we all were to be blessed to have her with us for the time we did! She will be very deeply missed as the physical departure of such an incredible lovely woman, human, and beautiful soul is a difficult thing to bear.
