Mary Louise Bryan Mitchell Tigerville, SC Mary Louise Bryan Mitchell, 66, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007. Born in Edgefield, South Carolina, she was preceded in death by her loving father, Ernest R. Bryan, Sr. Surviving is her devoted husband, Dr. H. William Mitchell; loving mother, Martha Dixon Bryan of Edgefield, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberlin Lesesne Mussa and Alessandro Carmine Mussa of Roswell, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Bryan Lesesne and Heather Shreves Lesesne of Palm Beach, FL; stepson, William D. Mitchell, Jr. of Columbia, SC; stepson and daughter-in-law Michael A. Mitchell and Janey Mitchell of Murrells Inlet, SC; grandchildren, Ashlyn Marie Mussa, Elle Elizabeth Lesesne and Easton Lesesne, Carolyn Michelle Mitchell and Matthew William Mitchell; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest R. Bryan, Jr. and Penny Bryan of Edgefield, SC; brother and sister-in-law Dixon Butler Bryan and Diane Bryan of Ninety Six, SC and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends. Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at The Howze Mortuary, 6714 State Park Road, Travelers Rest, SC 29690. The memorial service will be at North Greenville University Chapel Saturday, December 1, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. The Reverend Dr. Wayne Brown will be officiating assisted by North Greenville University President Dr. James B. Epting. Following the memorial service, burial and graveside services will be at Little Stephens Creek Baptist Church (Highway 430) in Edgefield, SC at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244. Mary was a devoted wife, daughter, mother and grandmother who loved God, family and her friends. She was a graduate of the Palmer Business College in Columbia, SC where she excelled. She was loved and admired by North Greenville University board members, the president, faculty, students and employees. She traveled the world with her husband assisting in presenting Building Strong Families for Lifeway and the POPS International Foundation. She truly loved God’s first institution – the family. During her life’s journey, she was encouraging others and practicing the Golden Rule. It made no difference whether she was in Edgefield County, at her mom’s home, or whether she was in another state or a foreign country, she was living the principles of the Bible. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who lifted Mary up in prayer, support and love during her long illness. Mary B. Mitchell left an admirable legacy of devotion to her faith, family and friends; and God looked down and said, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
